FEMALE Prize money given to MALE Athletes
Notes:
- Total sum calculated in US Dollars
- The Taiwanese government paid Yu-Ting Lin 900,000 NT (27,704 USD) for his finish at the 2023 IBA World Boxing Championships where he would have won a silver medal if he had not been disqualified. It is not known if this money would have gone to another Taiwanese female athlete in a separate event, so it will not be included in the Totals.
- Many countries offer their athletes monetary awards for winning medals at the Olympics. Two female athletes likely would have received this from their countries if not for both Khelif and Lin taking gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
